Dear Esteemed Pharmacy Professionals, Students, and Healthcare Experts It is with great honor that I extend my warm greetings to all members of the Sri Lanka Association of Pharmacy Professionals (SLAP), including practicing pharmacists, pharmacy students, and healthcare professionals dedicated to excellence in pharmaceutical practice. As a profession at the forefront of patient care, pharmacy continues to evolve, embracing innovations in pharmaceutical sciences, regulatory affairs, community practices and clinical applications. SLAP remains committed to enhancing professional development, advocating for industry best practices, and fostering collaboration among pharmacy professionals in Sri Lanka and beyond. With my academic and professional background—including a "PhD and MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences (AIU, USA) and BPharm from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura", along with my registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) ; I am dedicated to promoting excellence in pharmaceutical education and practice. Through our collective efforts, we strive to uphold the highest standards of ethical practice, ensure the safe and effective use of medicines, and contribute to the advancement of healthcare. I encourage each of you to actively participate in SLAP’s initiatives, engage in continuous learning, and contribute to the growth of our profession.
